The outpatient activity, carried out daily, includes general and specialist neurological visits. Twelve outpatient visits are performed daily, including general and specialist visits.
The clinic consists of a Centre for the diagnosis and treatment of multiple sclerosis, for which Dr. Filippiis responsible, an Alzheimer’s Evaluation Unit, for which Dr. Cassetta is responsible, a Headache Centre, for which Dr. Tibuzzi is responsible, and an office for movement disorders and botulinum toxin therapy (RITB responsible Dr. Cassetta).
The instrumental diagnostics activity includes:
- Neurophysiology Laboratoryin which Electromyography and Electroneurography are performed
- Study of evoked potentials , sensory and motor somato and sacral reflexes
- Electrophysiology laboratorythat allows EEG to be performed under sleep for adults and infants
There is also a Neurosonology Laboratory that provides for the execution of Doppler sonography of the epiaortic vessels, Ecocolor doppler of the same, Ecocolordoppler of the intracranial vessels, Doppler of the intracranial circulation with monitoring for embolus count and the study of the foramen ovale and CO2 tests for the study of the cerebral vasomotor reserve.
As part of the outpatient activities, the joint nephrological-neurological outpatient clinic on amyloid angiopathy began in November, with a monthly frequency, and a post-discharge surgery.
