Prevention and attention to women’s health and a look at history and tradition. They are the cornerstones of the day of 8 March on Tiberina Island, which recorded significant numbers: sold out reservations in just over 36 hours since the announcement of the prevention program and over 175 visits made in a few hours. Results that mark the centrality of the Hospital in promoting the culture of health within the area of reference.
The prevention evening was preceded by a conference attended by: the Director General, Daniele Piacentini, the Director of the Clinical-Scientific Area, Prof. Sergio Alfieri, the Director of the Endocrine Surgery UOC, Prof. Carmela De Crea, the Director of the Gynecology and Obstetrics UOC, Dr. Anna Franca Cavaliere, and the Director of the Breast Unit, Dr. Patrizia Frittelli.
The day of 8 March was also held under the banner of the history of the Hospital, with interventions by the art historian, Paola Lauro, Dr. Dario Manfellotto, internist at the FBF Gemelli Isola, and the writer Bruno Gossetti. The visit to the Temple of Jupiter and Radiotherapy was a great success, curated by Dr. Calogero Casà, radiotherapist at FBF Gemelli Isola.
