This is a UOC born from the merger of two prestigious UOCs that have always been a point of reference for the citizens of Rome: Otorhinolaryngology and Dentistry of the Tiberina Island. The continuous professional updating of the Healthcare Professionals operating in it has allowed, over the years, to maintain the high quality and scientific level of the services provided.
The synergy that arises from the merger of the two UOCs will lead to an increasing attention to borderline pathologies between the two Specialties and to a diagnostic integration for oral and oropharyngeal pathologies.
Description of the structure
Ambulatory environments on the 5th floor staircase C. Endowment of endoscopic and video-endoscopic equipment with the possibility of image recording. Video-stroboscopy and NBI (endoscopic diagnosis of malignancies). Complete audiological and vestibular diagnostics. Operating room on floor -1

- Benign and malignant tumors of the salivary glands
- Inflammatory conditions of the paranasal sinuses, nasal polyposis, obstructions and dyspriphysms of the nose

Services provided
The range of care proposals concerns the oncology of the upper airways (larynx, oral cavity, oropharynx) with surgery of the highest level and the possibility of accessing an integrated care programme through collaboration with Medical Oncology and Radiotherapy.
Particular expertise concerns the diagnosis and treatment of salivary glands diseases of the facial massif.Minimally invasive sinus surgery and functional nose surgery. Ear surgery and deafness should not be forgotten.
As for Odontostomatology, in addition to diagnostic visits, conservative, prosthetic and implant dentistry services are regularly provided. Last but not least, orthodontics
Outpatient activity
Intense outpatient activity distributed on all days of the week (Saturday morning included). NHS and private social visits. Freelance-professional visits in the afternoon (from Monday to Friday) with the possibility of choosing the Doctor.
