The day hospital is an organizational mode of hospital care in which the patient remains in the facility only as long as necessary for investigations, examinations or therapies and then returns to his home without occupying a bed.

Hospitalization in a day hospital can only be proposed by doctors of the Hospital after a specialist outpatient visit.
Day Surgery
Day surgery, or outpatient surgery, defines the possibility of performing interventions or other diagnostic or therapeutic procedures on patients who are discharged on the same day of admission.
The departments in which hospitalization can be carried out in day surgery are:
- Surgery
- Orthopaedics
- Otorhinolaryngology
Hospitalization in day surgery can only be proposed by doctors of the Hospital after a specialist outpatient visit.
